BRIO Shorty Dachshund Dog Toy
I recently bought the Brio Shorty Dachshund Dog toy for my son, and wanted to tell you more about it. Any Dachshund toy catches my attention, but this one was really special. We were visiting my parents in Boston and stopped by a Children's consignment store in the area. The Brio "Shorty the Dog" toy is meant for children 18 months or older. It is part of the Brio "First Set" line which includes "Caty the Cat", "Squiddo", and "Peppo the Penguin". "Shorty" measures 13 inches long by 10 inches tall and his coloring is blue with a white belly. Topping off this cute toy Dachshund is a red hat and scarf. The toy is nice and soft and my son loves to squeeze "Shorty's" body and occasionally toss the little guy :) In addition to Shorty, there are a couple of fun accessories included in the box. Three little wooden dogs come with the set which can be used on Brio train tracks when your child gets older. The three mini dogs fit snugly in a zippered area in Shorty's belly. Finally, there is a little dog collar and lease with a bone attached that can be used to pull Shorty around on walks. All in all, this is a well designed and nicely built toy from Brio. Your child should love it and if you are a Dachshund fan it makes a great Dachshund gift for yourself or other doxie lovers.
