Sad news from the homefront
I am very sad to let everyone know that our beloved Daisy Mae passed away on September 12, 2011.
She was such a huge part of my life and it has been difficult to look at our website over the last couple of months. I'm sorry to everyone that I didn't update you with the news sooner.
She was only five years old and died from complications after suffering a back injury. I will update the website in the next couple of weeks with more information on her short but full life.
Please visit the website Dodgerslist to educate yourself on the potentially deadly disease, IVDD, that can affect all Doxies.

Margo from Spokane, WA writes, "Nuclear Nitro is a dapple doxie and a mascot at our dog rescue, Dachshund Rescue NW. We rescued his parents and she came with gifts, already pregnant. We have rescued 800 since 1991 and have fun placing these homeless wiener dogs. I have fostered many litters over the years, but this one growled at me when his eyes opened so I knew he was my boy and our new mascot for the rescue.
